Eagle Service Projects!

UPCOMING Eagle Projects

SEPTEMBER 21

From: Kris Gardner

Hello All

I will be performing my Eagle project on Saturday September 21st.  I will be building a 40' long movable wooden platform to cover an area of a trail at the Manassas Battlefield National Park that is covered in water for most of the year. The purpose is to allow this portion of the trail to be more passable during all times of the year without damaging the park. I would appreciate all the help I can get, if you are available to come and help the project will most likely start at 9 Am. I will have more information as we get closer to the date.

SEPTEMBER 28

From: Benjamin Wagner

Hello All -

My Eagle Project will take place on Saturday, September 28th.  We will be planting trees that were donated to the Saint Benedictine Sisters Monastery as well as building cages to put around them to protect them from wildlife and the yard maintenance crew. The address is 9535 Linton Hall Road.

I know this is a camping weekend, but would appreciate help from those that don't go camping.

This is likely to be an all-day event. I will provide more details on the starting time as I get more information. Lunch will be provided.

Please bring gloves for working in the yard, if you have them.

YiS,

Benjamin Wagner

OCTOBER 5-6

From: Sam Collins
Hello,

I hope you all are having a good Thursday.  My name is Sam Collins and I have an eagle scout project coming up.  I want to ask if the troop can come to this eagle scout project.  We'll be making agility equipment for Manassas Park dog park.  It will involve cutting and painting wood, and cutting PVC.  The project will be on the first weekend of October, 10/5-6/19. Please come help out.

If anyone has supplies, here's the Link to a document with supplies I need, so please email me at amadeaus02@gmail.com. If you are unable to help but would still donate tools for the project, that would be greatly appreciated.  If anyone has questions, please email me at that address.

Yours in Scouting,

Sam Collins
